Yes, I had a great time at the plus 44 concert. It was great. Crazy weather that day. It was raining like a motha fucka. It was a miserable rainy day. My sister who was originally was gonna go with me didn't want to go with me. So I asked like 8 people to go to the show with me. They were all being weird about it ( I can understand Sean not wanting to go, since he had his first day of work and everything the next day)and not wanting to go. I'm like Hellllooooo Freeee ticket , free ride to and from the concert. It's gonna be fun whether or not you like the band or not. Plus the TLA is probably the best place I ever been to, to see a concert. It's small. so wherever your at you can see the band good and it sounds great in there.lol so anyways. I got Audrey to come with me to the show. Which was cool cause I haven't hung out or seen her in the longest, and I knew she's been to a bunch of concerts and wouldn't hold me back or complain about anything. I think if i were of went to the concert with my sister or whatever she probably would of wanted to leave all early right after the show and shiz, which would of sucked cause if that happened i wouldn't of met Mark HOPPUS!
So anyways, back to the concert. It was coool. I wasn't really into the opening band The Matches. Even though i know some of their songs i just couldn't really get into it. But when plus 44 came out it was awesome. I pushed and shoved my way closer to the stage. Mark was funny. telling jokes and all just like he did back in the blink days. The band was really good live. Travis played excellentlly with one arm, though he couldn't pull off some of the fills that he had done in the album. He still did a really good job with it. Infact, during one song, he was drumming with one arm and smoking a cigarrette with the other arm. I never seen that done before lol. It was mad cool. At the end of the show I got Mark's Autograph. WOW!! It's been a long time since i made a post in Xanga. Thank you to all the loyal readers out there. So what has Dave been up to you may ask? Well since i don't have a job or school or anything. I've been spending my time relaxing. One thing i have been doing a lot lately has been listening to music. I totally fell in love with a bunch of CD's. Such as (In no particular order) Senses Fail's new disc, My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade, and Plus 44's When Your Heart Stops Beating.
Senses Fail sounds like a brand new band, a breath of fresh air compared to their previous efforts. While the lyrics may be a bit cheesy, the music is as catchy as hell and more well crafted than anything done in the past due to their new Guitarist ( From the band Midtown, i forget the dudes name). My Chemical Romance's new cd is pure greatness. The sound of the record in general is just HUGE. It feels sort of like a musical. Very epic feel to it. Much better than their past 2 albums. I don't know how they can top this. Now onto Plus 44's album. I've been waiting to hear this for quite some time. Knowing that I am quite a big blink fan. Off the bat I must say it's better than Angels And Airwaves.It feels great to hear new music from Mark Hoppus, considering Blink182's last album only had him sing alone on like 2 tracks!
lol, thats enough of my music reviews. I've also spent my time playing video games. Such as Sonic Heroes (I grew up playing sonic on Genesis) and simply could not resist buying this game on PC considering it's insanely cheap 4.99 price tag. It's a pretty good game. I think better than sonic adventure 1 and 2. BUT, it does have it's problems. Mainly in the camera and the controls. Too many times have i fallen off a cliff with Sonic. Another game thats been consuming my time is Max Payne 2(which looks absolutely stunning on my PC, compared to that shit PS2 version of it). Pretty good game also.I'm stuck on the last boss! UGH!
I wrote quite a lot eh? I feel kind of like a geek. Maybe my next entry will be more interesting and have pictures to entertain you people with Attention Defecit Disorder.
hey loyal readers of my xanga ( all 2 or 3 of you). It has been a long time since my last update. Not much has been going on in my life. I am working on getting my license . It has been going pretty well. But now that i know all the rules of driving and everything.It has occured to me that 90% of people on the road driving today have no fucking clue how to drive.WTF. I see so many people going through stops signs and doing the wrong shit. It's just an accident waiting to happen driving. So many dumb fucks out there, makes me sick!
